Hoverclub members receive the official bi-monthly newsletter, HOVERNEWS. While production has been on pause due to logistical challenges, HOVERNEWS is being re-envisioned, with plans to resume digital editions in 2026. We are also working to make all historic editions available to members on this website in 2026, continuing our mission to advance the exchange of ideas and celebrate the history of hovercrafting.

Our website is constantly evolving and will soon be expanding to include 50 years’ worth of hovercrafting content. It’s packed with members-only information for everyone—from those just starting out in the sport to seasoned hovercrafters. Are you looking to build your first hovercraft? Club members benefit from the experience and expertise of our seasoned hovercrafters. Our members have built numerous hovercraft and can advice you on every aspect of a hovercraft build.  Don't go it alone!

Organized Events and Racing

Do you enjoy sport and competition? Have you ever wondered how you could become a hovercraft racer? Hoverclub members enjoy sanctioned racing events held throughout the country. Hoverally, our largest event of the year usually combines racing, cruising, themed hover challenges, a banquet, camping, and all round fun over a 3-4 day weekend.

Casual outings and cruises

Think Hovercraft cruising is fun? It's twice as much fun cruising with a group of friends! Club members organize weekend cruise events and casual hover-ins throughout the year, from sunny river cruises in Florida, to lake cruises in Tennessee, to winter ice hover-ins in Michigan and Wisconsin. Club members are sure to find a Hoverclub event within driving distance.

New and Used Hovercraft and parts

Hoverclub members have access to a complete listing of hovercraft manufacturers and providers of spare parts, as well as listings of used craft for sale.
